Bleeding?
At Milk Worm, all silk dyes are set through a 3-hour steaming process, ensuring a molecular bond with the silk proteins. Afterward, the silk is thoroughly washed to remove loose dye particles. Despite these efforts, some bleeding may occur with each wash—this is normal and does not reflect the quality of the garment.
How to wash Patch Shirts and Skirts?
First, consider washing less frequently, as silk naturally repels dirt and oil.
When you do need to wash, dry-clean and press at a laundromat experienced with silk. This is the best method for keeping your garment in tip-top shape.
BUT, what if I really want to wash my Patch Shirts and Skirts at home?
All Milk Worm skirts and shirts are tested for machine washing. To wash at home, select a delicate cycle with cold water and use a gentle detergent if available. Hang dry or put into dryer on low heat immediately; leaving silk to sit while wet may result in bleeding and staining to occur. Because of this, washing with other garments is not recommended.

How to wash Solar Plexus Pouch?
Hand wash gently (silk is delicate when wet), press with a dry towel, and then air dry flat. Once dry, press with steam iron.
