Milk Worm’s take on a flattering, closet staple, this gathered skirt is constructed from hand-dyed silk noil. Also known as raw silk, noil is an earthier alternative to flashier silk options; substituting shine for a matte finish, nubby texture, and a soft feel. Notably, it’s easy to care for and wrinkle resistant, affirming itself as a non-fuss option that positively fizzes with comfort. Running true to the fabric’s natural ease and luxurious drape, the waistband sports stretchy elastic making it a cinch to slip on and pair with a well-loved sweater.

Please note: This fabric is slightly sheer and naturally contains irregularities.

Care: When you do need to wash, we recommend dry-cleaning and pressing at a laundromat experienced with silk. This is the best method for keeping your garment in tip-top shape.

While not recommended, all Milk Worm skirts and shirts are tested for machine washing. To wash at home, select a delicate cycle with cold water and use a gentle detergent if available. Hang dry or put into dryer on low heat immediately; leaving wet silk to sit while wet may result in bleeding and staining to occur. Because of this, we do not recommend washing with other garments.
